Grandparents Day

Details: Grandparents Day at Pebblecreek Montessori Dear Parent and Grandparents, Grandparents are very special in the lives of our children-so here’s a day just for you! Grandparent’s Day recognizes the importance of our heritage, our community, and relationships across generations. Visit the school, find out what students are learning, and celebrate with us. Infants and Toddlers: For infants, grandparents can spend some time in class with their infants before taking them home. For half day toddlers, grandparents are welcome to pick up a little earlier than scheduled, and if it is beautiful day, play outside in the toddler playground before heading home. We do not have an in class work time scheduled for toddlers because they are so sensitive to disruptions in schedule. At 2:00 pm the school day and extended day children will gather in the lower school gym for a group music time led by our music coach Mr. Sullivan. Grandparents are welcome to attend the program with their toddlers before taking them home. If participating please inform your lead in class and ensure the grandparents are on the scheduled pickup list by E-mailing a photograph and name of the grandparent attending to Kavita at infants@pebblecreekmontessori.org. Primary Students: 8:15 a.m. Children’s Musical Program 8:30 a.m. Dismissal to your grandchild’s classroom 8:45 a.m. Hugs to all and goodbyes all around. SCHEDULE OF EVENTS FOR ELEMENTARY If you have more than one grandchild to visit with, you may split your time between the two, or grandma can visit with one child and grandpa with the other. If your schedule does not allow you to join your grandchild on that day, a note can be sent and we will deliver it to him or her on the day of the celebration.
