Susan Dendinger
Head of School & Co-Founder of Pebblecreek Montessori

Mrs. Dendinger co-founded Pebblecreek Montessori in 2001, after serving five years on the administrative staff at Preston Meadows Montessori in Plano. She is currently the president of Plano Montessori Associates, president of the Pebblecreek Memorial Foundation, and the Head of School at Pebblecreek Montessori, where her colleagues include two of her original partners and co-founders, Mrs. Owen and Mrs. Wilcox.
Mrs. Dendinger has worked in education administration for fourteen years and actively participates in the International Montessori Council's leadership program. She is passionate about her belief in the Montessori method and is eager to share its success stories. Her own three sons have thrived in the Montessori environment.
Mrs. Dendinger is also the coordinator for the school's parent education program, the soccer instructor for the after-school club, and a coach for Girls on the Run.
Prior to her "Montessori life," Mrs. Dendinger worked in the insurance industry. She has a property and casualty agent’s license and an associate’s underwriting degree in both personal and commercial lines of business. She was previously employed as a marine underwriter for Cigna Property & Casualty and as an insurance broker for American Maritime.
Mrs. Dendinger enjoys spending time with her husband and the couple's three sons. She is an avid runner and youth soccer coach. The family enjoys vacationing at the beach and soccer.
