Mrs. Kara was born in the United Kingdom where she graduated from Marlow House Institute. There she earned certifications in both Training and Development. She became an Associate Member of the Institute of Training and Development UK in 1991. She and her husband immigrated to the United States in 1997.
Mrs. Kara earned her Montessori Certificate from Southwestern Montessori Training Center in 2004, and she is also certified in MACAR: Montessori Applied To Children At Risk. In August 2005, Mrs. Kara assumed the lead guide position in Pebblecreek's Buttercup room. Prior to leading the class she assisted in both the Jasmine and Rosebud rooms.
Mrs. Kara and her husband have two children. Mrs. Kara practices yoga and is a trained and registered instructor of Radiant Child Yoga. She also enjoys music and plays the flute.
