Mrs. Sridhar joined the staff at Pebblecreek Montessori nine years ago. She is a guide in the elementary program. Mrs. Sridhar strongly believes in preparing students to step into and function effectively in the “Global Village.” As an educator for more than twenty years, she believes that being aware of and respecting differences between people facilitates better communication. As such, Mrs. Sridhar created the Cultural Awareness program at Pebblecreek. She also serves each year as the mentor educator and coordinator for Pebblecreek's sixth-grade student delegation to the Montessori Model UN.
Mrs. Sridhar previously worked as a counselor at The Indian High School, in Dubai. During her tenure there she developed and organized student discussion groups, parent/teacher conferences, conferences for Heads of Schools and career fairs for high school students.
Mrs. Sridhar is from India. She lives in Plano with her family. She is the mother of two teenaged boys. She enjoys going to the movies and the book store with her family. She is also a writer who enjoys writing plays in her spare time. In the past, she has volunteered as a teacher for English as a Second Language (ESL) for the Plano ISD and as a den leader for her son's Cub Scout pack.
