Pebblecreek Montessori - School of Excellence.

All classes are lead by Montessori-certified guides (teachers). Staff profiles are posted under People.
Pebblecreek offers partial-day and full-day preschool classes and an elementary program.
All classes follow a Monday through Friday, five-day/week schedule.
Our students range in age from infants to students in the Upper Elementary classroom (4th, 5th, and 6th grades combined).
Approximately 185 students are enrolled for school year 2007-2008.
Pebblecreek families live in Plano, North Dallas, Frisco, Allen and surrounding areas.
Ethnic and religious diversity within our student body complements our multi-cultural approach to education. We are an inclusive community.
We believe a close partnership between home and school is important.
Visitors are always impressed with our school's positive energy and the harmony in which our students work with their peers and guides.

Pebblecreek Montessori's Recent Relocation and Expansion.

Pebblecreek's enrollment has grown quickly since the school opened in January 2002 at the original location on Pebblecreek Court in Plano (near the intersection of Coit Road and Spring Creek Parkway). In March 2008, Pebblecreek announced the purchase of a newly-constructed preschool building and 4+ acres of land near the intersection of Custer and Hedgecoxe Roads, straddling the border of Allen and Plano. The property boasts mature trees and a creek, where students feel at home in the natural environment that surrounds them.

All operations were moved to the new campus in June 2008. Construction of a separate elementary building is slated to begin in summer 2008. For a map, visit the Location page.

Partnership with the International Montessori Council.

Pebblecreek has partnered with the International Montessori Council (IMC) to help us realize the ambitious long-term vision of becoming an accredited school of excellence, a recognized teacher training center, a bi-lingual pilot program, and innovators in curriculum development. As of mid-2007, Pebblecreek is a Candidate for Accreditation by the IMC and is nearing completion of the thorough accreditation process.
