About Us

Pebblecreek Montessori School
  • School of Excellence

Pebblecreek believes that the world is best served by confident, creative and independent learners who understand the interdependence of all living creatures and who internalize respect for self, others and the environment.

At PCM we are dedicated to providing a genuine Montessori atmosphere by interpreting Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophies faithfully. Our programs encompass the infant, toddler, primary, and elementary (through 6th grade) levels of Montessori education.

Ethnic and religious diversity within our student body complements our multi-cultural approach to education. We are an inclusive community.

    PCM Core Values
  • Achieving Mastery

Pebblecreek believes that education should entail a balance between theory and practicality.

At Pebblecreek Montessori, we believe that intelligence is innate. Our goal is to feed a child’s natural curiosity and transform it into passionate intellectual pursuit. We believe in ultimate respect for a child’s natural timing in the development of all areas of their being.

A successful Montessori education encourages personal excellence and imagination and instills a true love of learning. Visitors are always impressed with our school’s positive energy and the harmony in which our students work with their peers and guides (teachers).

  • Montessori-Certified Guides

We believe the Montessori materials are merely tools to develop multi-sensory thinkers into abstract thinkers who have an increased capacity for critical thinking and superior communication skills.

All classes are led by Montessori-certified guides. All classes follow a Monday through Friday, five-day/week schedule. As an authentic Montessori, Pebblecreek’s classrooms include multi-age groupings; students engage in uninterrupted work periods using specially designed Montessori learning materials.

Our students have the opportunity to exercise their skills in everyday life in order to solidify their purpose and achieve mastery.

    • Infant

PCM provides a Montessori environment designed for infants, 6 weeks to 18 months of age, to explore freedom of movement and sensory development with four infants to each caregiver.

    • Toddler Transition

When infants reach specific benchmarks around the age of 12 months, their guide begins the process of transitioning them to the next stage of development – the toddler level.

    • Toddler Program

Pebblecreek Montessori’s toddler program offers a child the opportunity to grow socially, emotionally and cognitively through real and positive interactions and carefully chosen materials.

    • Primary Program

At the primary level, children develop independence, self-discipline and the basics of academics including practical life, sensorial, language, mathematics, science, art, and cultural studies.

    • Lower Elementary

Pebblecreek Montessori offers individual work plans for each student in math, language, and cultural subjects based on a curriculum that meets and, in most cases, exceeds Texas state standards.

    • Upper Elementary

Upper Elementary builds upon the academic foundation laid in lower elementary and develops social, leadership, and life skills beyond traditional education systems.
