Pebblecreek Montessori School
  • Admission Process

1We invite all prospective families to review the information on this website and take a tour of our campus. School tours are given by appointment. We recommend mornings for visits since students will be in their work cycles.

2The Application Form is available online or from the school office. Return completed forms to our school’s business office by mail or in person. There is a non-refundable application fee. Any student applying to Pebblecreek’s Elementary School is also required to submit a completed Release of Records Form. This form will be mailed to your child’s former school.

3Once your application has been processed, and we have received student transcripts (if applicable), we will schedule a student visit. Your child will visit an age-appropriate classroom during class time so that assessments and observations may be made. Toddler and primary-aged students will spend about an hour in the classroom between the hours of 8:30am– 11:00 am. The length of the visit for a prospective elementary student is determined at the discretion of the elementary coordinator; the visit must be sufficient to provide the teachers ample opportunity to observe the student in classroom and group activities.

4Upon completion of the above steps, a parent interview will be arranged with the school.  Should the admissions board determine an unfit match between the student and the school, we will advise you within one week; no further actions will be required.

Admission descisions will be made upon a thorough review of the submitted information and observartions gathered during the student visit and parent interview.

  • Enrollment for New Students

Open enrollment for the next school year begins in late January or February. Applications received for a current school year will be reviewed as they are received. Placement will occur as space is available. Our goal is to help families find the best match between student, family, and school.

  • Re-enrollment for Current Students

Parents of current students will receive a re-enrollment package in January at which time they will be asked to submit a non-refundable registration and supply fee along with a completed selection sheet for the coming school year. After the deadline, current students will be placed into the admissions pool with new students.

  • The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences.
