Pebblecreek Parent Organization (PCPO)

All Pebblecreek parents and guardians are members of the Pebblecreek Parent Organization (PCPO). The PCPO staffs and coordinates the Scholastic Book Fair. A portion of the sales go to the PCPO for its programs.

 

Volunteer Opportunities

The school welcomes parent participation and volunteer service! Please check back often on the Volunteer Opportunities page for updated requests for volunteers. Class room representatives ("Room Moms") will also send periodic e-mails with requests for volunteers.

 

Parent Advisory Board

Formed in November 2007, the Parent Advisory Board will give open and honest input at quarterly meetings of the school's Board of Directors.



Uniforms

Pebblecreek Montessori has a mandatory uniform dress code 5 days a week in order to provide a community standard. We believe uniforms insure that children are in clothing that is comfortable, neat and appropriate for their age. Uniforms also eliminate unnecessary distractions that may interfere with studies. As of October 2007, the Head of School amended the list of acceptable items. Read more in her letter of October 12, 2007.

 

Class Newsletters

Class newsletters are posted by lead guides every other month.

 

Extracurricular Activities

Many extracurricular activities are offered on campus, including basketball, soccer, art, science, and others.

 

Carpool Line

Safety/courtesy guidelines and times and locations for carpool service .

 

Birthday Party Invitations

Update to School Handbook (07-08): Each class now has a Friendship Box for personal correspondence, including birthday party invitations, thank you notes, and similar.

 

Emergency Cards

All students must have a notarized Emergency Card with current contact information on file at school.
