Toddlers and primary students at the Lower School
7:45 - 8:00 am Monday - Friday
12:00 - 12:15 pm Monday - Thursday
3:00 - 3:15 pm Monday - Thursday
*All infants must be accompanied into the building.
For carpool service in the morning, Lower School parents should enter from Old Custer Road and take a left toward the lower building. Continue under the portico from the east side. A staff member will receive your child from the car (it is not necessary to exit your car or turn off the engine) and escort your child back to his/her class. Administration will sign in your child electronically.
At dismissal times, parents should form a single line of cars. Your child will be brought to your car and buckled into his/her seat. Please place car seats on the most accessible side and make sure the floor and seat are free from clutter. If the staff member is having difficulty buckling the car seat or your child is not cooperating, we ask that you pull into a designated parking spot and secure your child. If a child is picked up outside of the carpool service, the parent or responsible party must check out with the teacher or the administrative staff.
The carpool service is not in operation during Friday afternoon dismissals, so that parents may enter the building to retrieve their child’s folder and any items to be washed over the weekend.
Elementary School
8:00 - 8:15 am Monday - Friday
3:15 - 3:30 pm Monday - Thursday
In the morning, elementary students may be dropped off during carpool service in front of the Elementary building. Parents will enter Old Custer Road, continue toward the dumpster, turn right, and turn right again facing the Elementary building. Please allow your children to exit the car and enter the building by themselves.
In the afternoon, students will be dismissed by a staff member. Elementary children will be responsible for buckling their seat belts prior to exiting the parking lot.
Carpool Service - Safety & Courtesy
* Please refrain from conducting school business or consultations with teachers.
* Use extreme caution when entering and exiting our parking lots to ensure the safety of our children.
* Please do not leave your car (or a child in the car) unattended. If you wish to come into the building during carpool service, you must park your car in a designated spot.
* Do not allow children to cross in front of, or between, the line of cars.
* The use of cell phones is prohibited in school zones.
* Prior to the start of the carpool service, we also ask that you turn off your engines to avoid unnecessary fumes.
