Important Carpool Safety & Courtesy Guidelines- Please uphold!

The carpool service is for drop off and pick up only. Please refrain from conducting school business or consultations with teachers.
During our 12:00pm and 3:00pm toddler and primary dismissals, the car pool service will be in operation for your convenience. It lasts for 15 minutes. Parents should form a single line starting on Old Custer Road, enter the parking lot and immediately turn left toward the lower building. Your child will be brought to your car and buckled into his/her seat. Please have car seats placed on the driver’s side and make sure the floor and surrounding areas are free from clutter that may fall out of the car when the door is opened. If the staff member is having difficultly buckling the car seat or your child is not cooperating, we ask that you pull into a designated parking spot and secure your child in his/her seat in order to expedite the process. Out of consideration for all the cars waiting in line, we ask that you avoid socializing with other parents and staff members. Prior to the start of the carpool service, we also ask that you turn off your engines to avoid unnecessary fumes.
Elementary students arriving between 8:00am-8:15am should be dropped off in front of the Elementary building. Parents will enter Old Custer Road, continue toward the dumpster, turn right, and turn right again facing the Elementary Building. Please allow your children to exit the car and enter the building by themselves. Please see the diagram for driving directions. Elementary students have a carpool dismissal service staring at 3:15pm Monday-Thursday. Children will be dismissed by a member of staff. Elementary children will be responsible for buckling their seat belts prior to exiting the parking lot.
Children new to Pebblecreek Montessori will make and bring home name cards to be displayed on the dashboard or in the window of your car so our staff members can easily recognize the child you are picking up.
Please exercise extreme caution when entering and exiting our parking lots to ensure the safety of our children. Please do not block the car pool or fire lanes by leaving your car unattended. If you wish to come into the building during car pool, you must park and use the sidewalks provided. Do not leave a child in the car unattended or allow children to cross in front of, or between, the lines of cars.
The carpool service is not in operation during Friday afternoon dismissals. Parents or responsible parties must come into the school in order to retrieve their child’s folder located in his/her mailbox and take home items needing to be washed.
If a child is picked up outside of the carpool service, the parent or responsible party must check out with the teacher or school Office Manager.
